Our social projects

As a not-for-profit social enterprise, Mirrabook invests all its profits, along with grant funding and corporate sponsorship, into achieving our social aim:

To develop a free, quality digital learning experience for children and young people that will assist them to achieve their potential and not be limited by socio-economic background, race, gender, disability or learning difficulty.

In order to focus our work, we have developed five social projects, each of which has its own additional social aim.

Videos of inspirational stories for children and young people who may feel limited by gender, race, disability, learning difficulty or socio-economic background. We utilise digital learning for our social projects because we believe in its power to:

  • engage a geographically wider audience of children and young people
  • develop the digital literacy skills that will be much needed by children and young people as they enter the careers of the future
  • engage children and young people and improve attainment, particularly in those with learning difficulties
  • allow children and young people to learn at more of an individual pace.
